Claims Conference Academic Fellowships for Advanced Holocaust Studies
Requirements of Fellows
Once students have been accepted into the Fellows program, the following
is required of them:
- To be enrolled and in good standing in a PhD. program that is focused on the study of the Shoah.
- To study a language of Eastern Europe or the former Soviet Union necessary
for the study of Shoah-related documents, or if the field of study will be focused on a particular country or region, to study the relevant language/languages of that region.
- To participate in an annual seminar with other fellows if required.
- To commit to full time employment primarily in Holocaust Studies on an academic level for a minimum of five years after receiving a PhD degree.
